Looking for entry in the IT sector?
Course studied: Diploma of Software Development
Job title: Junior Analyst Programmer
Matthew was studying engineering/telecommunications at Swinburne University, however after studying for several years he realised it was no longer what he wanted to pursue.
Having always been interested in Information and Communications Technology and excelling in the computer programming components of his previous studies, Matthew began to research IT courses.
Matthew was looking for a course which he could complete quickly and offered flexibility. Computer Power met these criteria and after a discussion with one of our Career Consultants and some time to consider the Computer Power offer, Matthew commenced his Software Development course.
While studying, Matthew found the hands on approach highly beneficial to his learning.
Matthew secured his Junior Analyst Programmer role after working with Computer Power to improve his resume, cover letter and to develop his interview techniques.
Matthew let us know that Computer Power gave him an entry in a short time frame to an industry that he has always been interested in.
In his role Matthew utilises the concepts and principles completed at Computer Power and now he is completing his Diploma of Software Development part-time.
