Throughout your chosen course, you will learn the technical skills and gain qualifications in ICT.

Upon completion, you will have developed the essential soft skills required for everyday business including writing and communication skills, time management, teamwork and customer service skills.

Our Professional Development Consultants and Placement Consultants will train you in the art of successful job hunting. You will learn how to write CVs and cover letters, where to look for jobs, how to apply for positions and most importantly how to access the hidden job market.

Our dedicated Placement Consultants will assist you in preparing your CV and application letters as well as teaching you appropriate interview techniques and behaviours. You will attend mock interviews to give you real experience and ensure you are confident for any future interviews.

Like any job, salaries are usually negotiated between the candidate and the employer and are determined on a variety of factors – level of job role, position description and responsibilities, skill set, qualifications and experience needed for the role, size of company and the job market situation of demand and supply.

Computer Power Australia currently has one campus in Melbourne and the predominant job placement support is within Victoria. Our support is also designed to assist graduates secure a job no matter where the job is located. Some national employers will be pleased to liaise with our team for prospective candidates interested in interstate roles.

Computer Power’s proven IT learning methods and in particular our self-directed learning is a unique study alternative to University, TAFE and some private providers in that our courses are designed to train you in ICT skills as quickly as possible so that you can get on with your new career. Throughout your studies we want you to focus on completing your course, so we will only begin assisting you with your job search for full time roles once you have completed your studies.

From time to time, we receive enquiries from employers wanting students for short term assignments such as relocations, and we are happy to place you in these positions as they give you valuable IT related field experience.
