MCITP Overview

The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification helps validate that an individual has the comprehensive set of skills necessary to perform a particular job role, such as database administrator or enterprise messaging administrator.

MCITP candidate profile

MCITP candidates are IT professionals capable of deploying, building, designing, optimising, and operating technologies for a particular job role. They make the design and technology decisions necessary to ensure successful technology implementation projects.

Career Paths

Enterprise Desktop Support Technician

Focuses on the resolution and support of issues with Windows 7 enterprise software installation and configuration issues. Network access issues, user rights, printing, and access to services.

Server Administration

Focuses on Windows Server 2008 R2 administration and covers all areas of being a server administrator including network configuration and active directory configuration.

There are many opportunities you can pursue if you have well rounded and solid foundation ICT skills in additional to certifications.
